Job summary

Belmark Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in our Folding Carton plant. The role focuses on operating a Sheet Fed Printing Press with strict adherence to SOPs, quality and safety standards.

The position features a 3-day work week (4 days off) and a starting pay of $25.98 per hour including shift differential. Belmark offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment with opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
• Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
• Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.

Responsibilities

• Operate one of the specified folding carton machines at high efficiency following SOPs and work instructions.
• Set and adjust machine controls and monitor operation.
• Perform machine changeovers and assist in staging materials and tools.
• Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to standards.
• Follow safety procedures and produced products according to schedule.
• Keep work area clean and organized; may perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
