Job summary

Kana Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming guest spaces in our Duluth, GA properties. The role requires attention to detail, timely service, and a friendly guest experience.

Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred, with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include cleaning hallways, rooms, restrooms, and public areas; replenishing supplies; and assisting guests with requests while upholding safety

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
• Assists guests with housekeeping requests.
• Handles chemicals following safety data sheets guidelines.
• Moves and dusts furniture and equipment.
• Cleans floors and surfaces, vacuums carpets, and empties trash.
• Replenishes supplies and prepares rooms with towels and amenities.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner and meet their needs.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Cleans hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms andother work areas.
• Assist with completing Guest requests related to housekeeping needs.
• Abides by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
• Moves/arranges furniture and dusts/polishes furniture, metalwork and equipment.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors, using brooms and mops and powered scrubbing andwaxing machines. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner.
• Collects soiled linens for laundering and receives and stores linen supplies in linen closet.
• Cleans bathrooms and replenishes with supplies.
• Refurnishes room with supplies, towels etc. as required. Supplies cleaning cart with appropriatesupplies for shift.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork; washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposalarea.
• Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Previous customer service experience
