Our brand new hotel, Westin RDU/Brier Creek, has an opening for both entry-level and experienced cooks to assist our F&B department. Weekend availability is required.

Position details:

  • Part-time: 3-4 days a week
  • Full-time: 4-5 days a week, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday

Job duties:
  • Deliver high-quality products in terms of freshness, taste, and food safety guidelines.
  • Take orders and cook as required.
  • Provide superior guest service, keep tables and food areas clean, and maintain the dining area during guests' meals.
Job requirements:
  • Previous hospitality or food service experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, and willing to engage guests.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
  • Clean background check and reliable transportation are required.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights.
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and Turbo Chef.
  • Ability to handle comments and suggestions.
  • Knowledge of Micros POS system is highly desired.
  • Fine dining experience preferred.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.
