Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
• 1-2 years of line cook experience in a hotel/restaurant or similar.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Food Handler's Certification and food safety knowledge.
• Knowledge of Micros POS system.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service.
• Assist with prep work, including chopping vegetables, sauces, and marinating proteins.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization; uphold food safety standards.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and work with team for timely service.
• Communicate effectively with Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and teammates.
