Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk is seeking a PM Line Cook (2pm-10pm) to support guest satisfaction by preparing and executing food orders with strict adherence to safety and sanitary standards.

Responsibilities include following prep lists, maintaining equipment, and assisting with banquet prep when needed. The role offers opportunities for growth and participation in employee benefit programs at Hilton.

Qualifications

• Experience in line cooking and high-volume kitchen operations.
• Ability to follow ServSafe food handling and safety procedures.
• FLUENT ENGLISH: read/write/speak clearly.
• Willingness to work PM shift (2pm-10pm).
• Capable of lifting up to 45 lbs with proper technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and execute food orders for the restaurant.
• Follow prep lists and ensure proper labeling, dating, rotation, and storage of foods.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Assist with closing and opening checklists and shift duties.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
