About The Commoner

It is a restaurant that features American classics with modern touches, inspired by Pittsburgh’s industrial past, serving a locally-focused, ingredient-driven menu paired with local beers and craft spirits.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing quality and well-presented food in a timely manner.
2. Maintaining sufficient stock at line stations.
3. Following standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and safety standards.
4. Ensuring sanitation and food safety compliance.
5. Keeping a clean work station and assisting in daily cleaning tasks.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in restaurant or culinary roles preferred.
2. Good time management and organization skills.
3. Ability to work independently.
4. Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
5. Trained in knife skills and kitchen equipment.
6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
