Job summary

BeOne Medicines is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a global transition of Tax and Accounting services from the incumbent provider to a new service provider.

You will coordinate internal stakeholders across Accounting, Tax, Treasury and regional teams, manage risks, and ensure a controlled cutover. This hands-on role requires strong PM discipline and the ability to drive accountability across a global, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in finance or accounting transitions.
• Proven experience managing complex vendor transitions.
• Knowledge of Tax and Accounting processes and systems is required.
• Experience working in a global environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of a global transition of Tax and Accounting services from the current provider to a new service provider.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and transition roadmaps.
• Coordinate activities across Accounting, Tax, Treasury, regional teams, and external service providers.
• Manage entity-by-entity transition activities from initial planning through cutover and stabilization.
• Establish and maintain governance processes, including status meetings, steering committee updates, RAID logs, action-item tracking, and decision logs.
• Identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and timeline conflicts early and drive mitigation plans to resolution.
• Facilitate working sessions between internal teams and external partners to align scope, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate knowledge-transfer activities between the incumbent provider, BeOne teams, and the incoming provider.
• Track transition readiness and ensure required documentation, training, controls, and support processes are in place before go-live.
• Manage transition issues, escalations, and decision points, ensuring appropriate resolution and leadership visibility.
• Prepare executive-level communications, project status updates, dashboards, and leadership presentations.
• Coordinate testing, validation, business sign-off, and cutover activities required for successful service transitions.
• Monitor post-transition stabilization activities and ensure issues are resolved and ownership is transferred to operational teams.
• Track external providers against project commitments, deliverables, timelines, and expected outcomes.
• Partner with leadership to ensure transition objectives, priorities, and resource needs remain aligned throughout the engagement.
• Build trusted relationships and work effectively across global teams, time zones, cultures, and functional areas.

General Description

BeOne Medicines is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate a global transition of Tax and Accounting services from an incumbent external service provider to a new service provider.

Working closely with Accounting and Tax leadership, this role will coordinate internal stakeholders, the incumbent provider, the incoming provider, and regional teams to plan and execute the transition entity by entity. The Project Manager will establish the integrated transition plan, manage dependencies and readiness, coordinate knowledge transfer, track risks and decisions, and ensure that each entity moves through transition in a controlled and transparent manner.

The role will work primarily across Accounting and Tax, with coordination across Treasury and other Finance functions where services, processes, systems, or dependencies overlap. Success will require strong project management discipline, experience managing complex vendor transitions, and the ability to bring structure, accountability, and momentum to a global, cross-functional initiative.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can independently lead a complex provider-to-provider transition, organize multiple parties around a common plan, identify issues early, and diplomatically hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for commitments.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $61.61/hour - $82.14/hour
