Job summary

The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA seeks a full-time Project Manager for the Automated Synthesis Facility node. You will manage budgets, schedules, and scope, coordinate with UCLA and Sunthetics, and drive NSF reporting and governance across the program.

You will lead cross-team meetings, oversee onboarding, and ensure compliance with programmatic terms while maintaining documentation and public information on capabilities and training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent as required by the award.
• Minimum of four years' experience in project management/leadership coordinating scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Node Director in budget, schedule, and scope management including subaward invoicing and deliverables.
• Maintain Strategic Implementation Plan and PEP; update instrument inventory per 2 CFR 200.313.
• Drive execution against the PCL timeline and manage risk and re-planning.
• Prepare quarterly NSF reports and annual/final reports via Research.gov.
• Coordinate agendas for Node Executive Committee and Technical Working Groups; track decisions to closure.
