The role involves mentoring under a Scripps Research faculty member to develop novel hardware, optimize PCL instrumentation, and contribute to data generation for AI-programmable cloud laboratories aligned with Genesis Mission.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or D. Phil. or equivalent in organic chemistry with experience in chemoinformatics, ML/AI or statistical learning related organic reactions.
• Pending doctoral degree may be considered with PI and HR approval.
• NIH/NSF postdoc framework; mentored training to advance independence and career path.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations and develop new methods on existing and proposed PCL Node instrumentation in the ASF.
• Assist with instrument configuration, integrations, and development of new hardware to support proposal goals.
• Support Science Driver projects and data generation efforts within a national AI-programmable cloud-lab network.
