Scripps Research in La Jolla, CA, seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to work with the Scientific Director in the Automated Synthesis Facility. You will help maintain operations, configure instruments, and develop novel hardware to support national AI-programmable cloud laboratory initiatives.

The role requires a doctoral degree in organic chemistry with strong background in chemoinformatics, ML/AI, and related data generation.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., D. Phil., or equivalent degree in organic chemistry.
• Experience in chemoinformatics, machine learning, AI, or statistical learning related organic reactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations in the Automated Synthesis Facility and assist with instrument configuration and integration.
• Develop new hardware and support data generation for proposal goals and Science Driver projects.
