Job summary

Saint Therese of Woodbury is seeking a Casual/On-Call Food Server/Dietary Aide to join our dining team. You will serve meals, assist residents, clear tables, and help maintain a welcoming dining environment in our Woodbury community.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of serving or hospitality experience, can read diet cards and menus, and work well with others. This role offers a consistent part-time schedule and same-day pay options.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of serving or hospitality experience.
• Able to read English and follow diet cards and menus.
• Works cooperatively with others and communicates clearly.
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the role.
• Experience in senior living dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive meal service to residents and tenants in accordance with menu and diet guidelines
• Serve meals accurately and efficiently while supporting a positive dining experience
• Clear tables, assist with dish removal, and maintain dining areas
• Support nutrition service duties to ensure smooth dining operations
• Follow diet cards and service instructions for accurate meal delivery
• Demonstrate professionalism toward residents, families, and team members
• Collaborate with culinary and dining teams to support quality service

Casual/On-Call | Food Server / Dietary Aide

Schedule: on-call/casual basis

Shift: 3:30pm - 7:00pm

Pay Range: $18.89 – $25.63 per hour (based on experience) *Same Day Pay Available*

• Provide friendly, attentive meal service to residents and tenants in accordance with menu and diet guidelines
• Serve meals accurately and efficiently while supporting a positive dining experience
• Clear tables, assist with dish removal, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas
• Support additional nutrition service duties as assigned to ensure smooth dining operations
• Follow diet cards, menus, and service instructions to ensure accurate meal delivery
• Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and a positive attitude toward residents, families, and team members
• Work collaboratively with culinary and dining team members to support quality service

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ years of previous serving or hospitality experience
• Ability to read English and follow diet cards, menus, and production sheets
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in senior living, healthcare dining, or restaurant environments
