Lakewinds Food is seeking an organized, motivated team member to join our scratch kitchen. This role supports the Deli Counter and collaborates with a fast-paced team to produce delicious, consistent products for our customers in a cooperative setting.

Evening shifts and weekend work are required. No prior experience is necessary, but ServSafe is a plus and training will be provided to the right candidate; we value teamwork, safety, and a willingness to learn.

• One year kitchen experience preferred, but on-the-job training is available.

Seeking an organized, motivated team member who is interested in working in a scratch kitchen. We are looking to further strengthen our team with new staff who will help in providing delicious and consistent products for our customers. We are a member-owned cooperative that provides the highest quality natural and organic products at a good value. Lakewinds’ kitchen is a fast-paced and exciting department to learn and work your knife skills, and food knowledge. Essential Functions

• Kitchen staff must be able to work together as a team and be able to work independently if needed.
• This position will also support and assit the Deli Counter.
• Candidate must possess strong multi-tasking skills.
• All health and safety procedures need to be adhered to at all times.
• Strong communication skills with coworkers and customers is key to a successful department.

Qualifications

• One year kitchen experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate on the job.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Shifts will be evenings and include weekends.
