Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold menu items, including grill, sauté, salad bar, and line service

• Follow menu cycles and standardized recipes for proper preparation, portioning, and presentation

• Taste and test food to ensure quality and palatability

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Support overall kitchen operations, including inventory and prep

• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times

• Work collaboratively with the dining team to meet meal service timelines

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience required; senior living or healthcare setting a plus

• Knowledge of food production, portion control, and food handling safety

• Strong attention to detail and food presentation

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Dependability and teamwork required

• Must be available to work evening (PM) shifts and weekends
