Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Various shifts both AM and PM including holiday rotation, and every other weekend.
AM shift: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
PM shift: 11:00 am - 7:30 pm
Responsible for all aspects of food production for patients, catering, and retail areas. Receives, stores, preps, cooks, and serves all items within food services. Ensures safe handling, cooking, and serving of food, adhering to all relevant guidelines.
Reviews production sheets and recipes to ensure quality and quantity. Prepares food according to established guidelines, maintaining records.
Measures and mixes ingredients, uses kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare various foods, and follows safety and sanitation standards.
Monitors food storage, temperatures, and waste control to ensure safety and efficiency.
Requires ServSafe Food Handler certification within 1 year and a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically requires 3 years of experience in food production in relevant settings.
Knowledge of diet restrictions, recipe scaling, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Pay Range: $20.40 - $30.60
