Hutzel Plumbing & Heating Company is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This hands-on role emphasizes quality workmanship, problem solving, and exceptional customer service as part of a growing team.

You will read blueprints, diagnose issues, perform drain cleaning, inspect water systems and HVAC components, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, or repairing plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and plumbing codes.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Reliable and proactive in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with field service software is a plus.
• Plumbing licensure or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Diagnose plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform drain cleaning and use plumbing inspection cameras.
• Inspect water systems and HVAC components to identify issues.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with customers, contractors, and team members.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other technicians to coordinate plumbing work on projects.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
