Job summary

Big Brothers Home Services is seeking a reliable plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems across residential, commercial, or industrial settings. You will diagnose issues, read blueprints, and ensure safety and code compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to quality workmanship in varied environments. A valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, valves, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing components.
• Diagnose plumbing issues, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications as needed.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper function.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialized plumbing tools.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding work performed and next steps.
• Maintain accurate service records, material usage, and job documentation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
