Job summary

Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric is seeking a Plumbing Technician to diagnose, service, repair and install plumbing systems for residential and commercial clients. You will perform drain cleaning, evaporative cooler work, and sprinkler system installations while ensuring safety and high quality workmanship.

You'll communicate clearly with clients, maintain professional conduct, and follow all codes and company standards. Occasional travel between job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to understand, diagnose, service, repair, and install basic plumbing systems.
• Motor Vehicle Record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles within the company fleet.
• Possession of required plumbing hand tools per company Tool Requirement List.
• Successful completion of required background checks, drug testing, and employment screening.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to learn and work with tablet software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair or service solutions.
• Service, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and equipment.
• Install plumbing systems, fixtures, equipment, and related components.
• Perform drain cleaning services.
• Service and install evaporative cooler systems.
• Service and install sprinkler systems.
• Perform quality workmanship that meets current code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company installation standards.
• Complete work in accordance with applicable safety and code requirements.
• Provide professional and courteous service during every client interaction.
• Communicate with clients and answer questions and concerns.
• Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and quality workmanship.
• Represent Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric professionally in appearance, attitude, and conduct.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and requirements.
