Job summary

IES Residential seeks a Plumbing Superintendent to oversee on-site plumbing operations, manage field personnel and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on multiple job sites.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of plumbing construction management or field operations experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read plans and interpret codes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Antonio.

Qualifications

• Background in plumbing construction management or field operations.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily plumbing construction and field operations on assigned job sites.
• Manage plumbing field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and operational activities to ensure project success.
• Review plumbing project plans, specifications, schedules, and operational requirements to ensure compliance and timely completion.
• Monitor plumbing job progress, productivity, safety, and quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, office staff, and plumbing field teams regarding project schedules and operational updates.
• Identify and resolve plumbing job site issues, delays, safety concerns, and operational conflicts in a timely manner.
