Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead the project team, drive on-time delivery with high quality, safety, and customer loyalty. This role directs field crews, coordinates with trades, and ensures adherence to codes and standards.

The candidate should have a Plumbing or Mechanical (HVAC) license, OSHA 30 preferred, and strong English communication skills, with a proven track record managing multimillion-dollar construction projects.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• 10+ years of field supervision experience on multimillion-dollar projects.
• Active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license.
• Knowledge of the National Building Code and local codes.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Basic computer and writing skills.

• Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
• Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades as well as the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts while providing excellent customer service.

• Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet schedule.

The plumbing superintendent position at Power Design is a critical leadership role responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level quality, safety and customer loyalty. The Mechanical Superintendent has significant impact on the success of the company and delivering on our mission to be the most trusted name in the industry.

POSITION DETAILS/RESPONSIBILITIES…

• Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Skilled field supervisor with at least 10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion dollar construction projects.
• An active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license.
• Proficient knowledge of the National building Code, local codes and construction safety requirements.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Must have at least basic computer and writing skills.
