How you’ll contribute to the team:

As a Plumbing Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing dispatched service calls to address plumbing issues for residential and commercial clients.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing piping systems and plumbing equipment.
  • Documenting job details electronically using company-provided technology.
  • Restocking and maintaining your service truck in an organized and safe manner.
  • Promoting company services with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Contributing to team safety and improvement through teamwork and cooperation.

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of plumbing issues.

How you’ll qualify:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (vocational or community college coursework in plumbing preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the plumbing service trade.
  • Ability to acquire South Dakota and Sioux Falls Journeyman plumbing licenses.
  • Knowledge of boiler control and operation is a plus.

What to expect in the field:

  • Physical strength, coordination, and stamina are essential for lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling loads up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and at heights using ladders or lifts.
  • Regular use of hand tools and clear decision-making in varied customer and technical scenarios.
  • Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
