Job summary

Russo Bros & Co in East Hanover, NJ is hiring experienced plumbing technicians with residential service experience. This full-time role offers a flexible weekend schedule, competitive hourly wages of $40–$55 plus incentives, and a take-home company truck with gas card, tablet, and uniform.

You will diagnose and repair residential plumbing, install piping and water heaters, maintain safety and codes, and deliver outstanding customer service across Morris, Essex, Union and surrounding counties.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years plumbing experience, journeyman or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of plumbing systems, tools and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance in residential settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues with accuracy.
• Install and repair piping systems, fixtures and water heaters.
• Operate and maintain company-provided tools and service vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and local codes.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance services in residential and/or commercial settings
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues with accuracy and efficiency
• Install and repair piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and related components
• Operate and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicle

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous plumbing experience ( journeyman, or equivalent) preferred 3-5 years experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or certification a plus
