Job summary

American Air & Heat in Sanford, FL is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for residential and commercial clients. The role requires diagnosing issues, reading blueprints, and delivering top-notch customer service.

The position offers a flexible schedule (11am-8pm, 2 days/week) with hourly pay plus performance bonuses and potential for substantial earnings in the top tier.

Qualifications

• Previous plumbing experience (apprentice, journeyman, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance services in residential and/or commercial settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Install and repair piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and related components.
• Operate and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicle.

What You’ll Do: The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Performs a variety of services ranging from faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing systems replacements for residential customers while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance services in residential and/or commercial settings
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues with accuracy and efficiency
• Install and repair piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and related components
• Operate and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicle
