Job summary

Travis Crawford HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems on-site. You will explain findings and options clearly to homeowners, while delivering a respectful customer experience on every call.

Responsibilities include diagnosing leaks and fixtures, clearing drains, servicing water heaters, working with gas piping, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Three years of residential plumbing service experience requested, but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of residential plumbing systems and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and ready to be part of a team.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and doing the right thing.
• Relevant licenses, certifications, apprenticeships, or manufacturer training are a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Maintain accurate service documentation, estimates, and invoices.
• Communicate with dispatch, management, and the rest of the team.
• Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and ongoing training.
• Follow company safety, quality, and plumbing-code standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Plumbing Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems while helping homeowners understand what is happening and what needs to happen next.
