Qualifications

• Three years of residential electrical experience requested, but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with residential electrical service, installation, or both.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and ready to be part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and participate in ongoing training.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and doing the right thing.
• Relevant electrical licenses, certifications, or trade-school training preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical problems
• Complete electrical repairs, replacements, upgrades, and installations
• Work on panels, service upgrades, wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, fixtures, generators, EV chargers, and surge protection
• Identify code and safety concerns and recommend appropriate solutions
• Clearly explain findings and available options to homeowners
• Deliver a professional, respectful customer experience on every call
• Maintain accurate service documentation, estimates, and invoices
• Communicate with dispatch, management, and other members of the team
• Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked
• Participate in the on-call rotation
• Follow company safety, quality, and electrical-code standards
• Participate in ongoing technical and professional training

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Residential Electrician, you’ll diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential electrical systems while helping homeowners understand their options and make confident decisions about their homes.
