Ideal candidates will have a BS in engineering or construction management with 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication, leadership, and budgeting capabilities,

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, construction management, or completion of a relevant apprenticeship preferred.
• 3–5 years of construction industry experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and supervise field crews.
• Experience tracking and managing project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Pursues and secures new business through strong client relationships and presentations.
• Prepares estimates, budgets, schedules and assists in contract negotiations.
• Coordinates with architects and engineers to resolve design-related issues.
• Keeps clients informed of progress and negotiates changes to fees.
• Plans and coordinates manpower, equipment, and supplies to meet project objectives.
• Monitors and manages contract financials with administrative/ accounting teams.
• Maintains positive union relationships and supports apprenticeship subcommittees.
• Completes project closeout with as-built drawings and manuals for customers.
• Represents Hooper at events to strengthen client relationships and community presence.
• Attends divisional meetings and may participate on committees.
