Job summary

Hooper Corporation, established leader in electrical power and mechanical contracting, seeks a driven professional to grow new business and responsibly plan, organize, and coordinate projects in Wisconsin and other offices. You will manage budgets, collaborate with engineers, and ensure safety and quality across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include client development, estimating, contract negotiations, shop drawings, and closeout.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, construction management or equivalent field.
• 3–5 years of related construction project experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pursues and acquires new business by maintaining client relationships and presenting project plans and contracts.
• Prepares estimates, budgets, schedules, and assists in contract negotiations; attends site meetings and progress reviews.
• Collaborates with architects and engineers to resolve design and construction issues; processes shop drawings timely.
• Maintains client updates on progress and costs; negotiates fee changes and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Plans and coordinates manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project objectives.
• Manages contract administration including change orders, billing and expenses in coordination with admin staff.
• Maintains positive labor relations and participates in labor management activities.
• Completes closeout including as-built drawings and manuals distribution.
• Engages in company events to strengthen customer relationships.
