Job Summary

We're hiring a Plumbing Project Manager to oversee commercial plumbing projects from initial planning through final completion. You'll lead field teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and customers to deliver high-quality mechanical construction solutions.

Our projects support healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, educational institutions, and other commercial buildings across Wisconsin. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, make key decisions, and see the direct impact of your leadership from the first blueprint to the final installation.

What You'll Do
  • Lead commercial plumbing projects from planning through completion, coordinating Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, subcontractors, Department Managers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, procurement, and cost tracking, identifying potential delays or cost overruns and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, customers, and contractors to review construction drawings, resolve technical challenges, and ensure projects meet specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee subcontractor proposals, agreements, scope changes, permits, and project documentation while contributing to estimates, take-offs, and bid packages.
  • Partner with field leadership and safety personnel to implement project-specific safety plans, monitor performance, and maintain quality standards throughout construction.
  • Track project financial performance, prepare progress and cost reports, and present updates during project reviews and monthly financial meetings.
What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management or related experience, preferably in commercial plumbing or mechanical construction.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Knowledge of relevant construction codes, industry standards, and safety requirements.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and construction activities.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing project demands.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with field teams, engineers, contractors, and customers while handling confidential information professionally.

We offer an annual base salary of $115,000-$125,000, a bonus, and a benefits package. Relocation is available.
