Job summary

Craftsmen Industries, Inc. is seeking a Plumbing & Mechanical Technician in St. Charles, MO on 1st shift.

The role focuses on assembling, installing, and finishing components for custom trailers and mobile structures. You will use plumbing skills, mechanical aptitude, and hands-on fabrication to support the full build process, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include installing water lines and fixtures, reading blueprints, and assisting with various production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in plumbing/mechanical assembly or related trade.
• Experience with plumbing systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Able to safely use hand and power tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, connect, test, and troubleshoot plumbing systems in custom trailers and vehicles.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to complete tasks.
• Assemble and install mechanical components and support trailer systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in a clean, safe condition.
• Collaborate with electricians, fabricators, welders, engineers, and production teams.
• Support fabrication, assembly, and finishing activities for custom builds.
• Identify potential quality issues and communicate them to leads.
