Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, based on education and work experience.
• Knowledge, skills & abilities include mechanical/hydraulic press brakes and blueprint reading.
• Must be able to operate a range of tools and equipment listed in essential functions.
• Lean concepts knowledge and willingness to learn applied to maintenance/production.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and machines essential to the job, including electrical meters and power tools.
• Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on shop equipment.
• Read and interpret prints and schematics.
• Troubleshoot line repairs and breakdowns promptly.
• Perform basic welding and work with a torch.
• Maintain inventory and use the maintenance data base.
• Work overtime as required and ensure safety and productivity.
