Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Project Manager in New Orleans, LA to lead commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects from inception to close-out. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating subcontractors and material vendors to secure best terms and timely delivery.

The role requires experience with medium to large mechanical contracting environments, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong estimating/scheduling software skills.

Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC/Plumbing PM experience with a medium or large mechanical contractor.

Responsibilities

• Complete full mechanical HVAC and plumbing project from start-up to close-out.
• Fully understand and track the project's scope, schedule and budget from start to finish.
• Choose and review progress of other sub-contractors.
• Work with vendors and suppliers and ensure on-time delivery and best terms and pricing for materials.
• Attend preconstruction meetings.
• Complete on-site visits.

Requirements:

• Commercial HVAC/Plumbing Construction Project Management experience working for a medium or large mechanical contractor

Preferred:

• Bachelors in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• Prior Plumbing, Piping, or Sheet Metal field experience
• Strong estimating and scheduling software knowledge
