Job summary

Firstcall Mechanical Group in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Plumber Helper with a can-do attitude to support the head plumber on site. You will assist in repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems while reading blueprints and ensuring correct installation locations.

The role requires 1–3+ years of experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of plumbing experience
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems
• Read blueprints and determine exact specifications and installation locations
• Be readily available to support the head plumber on the job
• Determine water supply networks and waste drainage systems
• Install systems that transport water, waste, gases, or liquids
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles
• Observe pressure gauges to identify and fix leaks
• Test pipe systems and repair leaks
• Prepare trenches for pipe lay
• Clean job sites daily
