Job summary

SPC Mechanical is seeking a Plumber Helper to support field operations, assisting mechanics with daily on-site tasks and ensuring tools and materials are organized and available for the work. You will help position components and maintain safety and cleanliness on active job sites.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of plumbing-related experience, a willingness to learn, reliable attendance, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. OSHA 10 certification is preferred and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in plumbing or related trades.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different plumbing systems.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to work on-site in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Holds, positions, and reads tape to assist in layout.
• Places and moves equipment and materials.
• Positions and turns clamps; screws, bolts, and hammers together; uses tools and equipment properly (as required).
• Transports and furnishes the mechanic with materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment; ensures proper storage.
• Performs other routine duties; complies with safety rules.
• Ability to inspect tools and anticipate what the mechanic needs next.
