Job summary

WNA Engineering, Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking a seasoned Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer to join our design team.

You will design plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of commercial and institutional projects, collaborating with project engineers and PICs to ensure accurate, code-compliant solutions. Minimum 2-year Associate or Technical Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate or Technical Degree in Architectural, Mechanical or Construction Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years designing Plumbing and/or Fire Protection systems for MEP buildings.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit 2022.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of projects under supervision.
• Prepare technical reports, edit specifications, and perform investigations.
• Coordinate with plumbing, electrical and mechanical teams.
• Support project budgets, design reviews, and cross-checking.

Education

Associate or Technical Degree in Architectural / Mechanical / Construction Engineering
