Schnackel Engineers Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Engineer to design, analyze, and implement plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial and residential buildings.

You will perform load calculations, develop layouts, and prepare detailed drawings while coordinating with other disciplines to meet codes and project schedules. The ideal candidate has an accredited Architectural Engineering degree with a Plumbing emphasis and 2–3+ years of plumbing design experience, plus Engineer-intern

Qualifikationen

• Accredited degree in Architectural Engineering with a Plumbing emphasis.
• 2–3+ years plumbing design experience with an MEP engineering consultant.
• Engineer-intern credentials in Plumbing Engineering.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently with direction when needed.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with the client, the MEP/FP/IT design team, and other consultants to ensure design is fully coordinated.
• Participate in meetings and conference calls as needed.
• Use AutoCAD/Revit to create document packages with plans, equipment, piping, and specs.
• Perform load calculations and pipe sizing for plumbing design.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and reps for selection and specification.
• Provide construction administration support, including RFIs.
