Bala Consulting Engineers is seeking a Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer to join our Wayne, PA office. The role involves designing plumbing and fire protection systems across multiple building types, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and supporting project administration.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of plumbing codes and NFPA standards. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or AE Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and NFPA standards.
• Ability to communicate with clients and team members and document daily activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or AE Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Layout and sizing of plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Equipment layout and sizing.
• Determine schedules and details required for projects.
• Ensure flow of information between disciplines.
• Assist in writing reports and feasibility studies.
• Review shop drawings with project engineer.
• Field contractors' questions.
