Job description

DuBois & King, Inc. is seeking an experienced plumbing designer with approximately2-5 years of experience. This is a full time engineering position in our growing Mechanical Engineering Group. Our markets include healthcare, commercial, industrial, institutional, and government projects throughout New England. This position will be based out of our Bedford, NH office.

Responsibilities

• Preparing calculations under the supervision of an experienced engineer using current material and building codes and relevant design standards.
• Ability to work in Revit to assist with the preparation of drawings and sketches including completion of redlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Conducting site visits to survey existing conditions or review project conformance with plans.
• Flexibility with schedule to accommodate project requirements as necessary.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency required and comfortable with engineering design software.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil or structural engineering is preferred.
• Strong technical skills combined with clear, concise written and verbal communication skills are important.
