Full Circle is seeking a dynamic engineer who specializes in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design, Fire Protection Design, Engineering, and consultation solutions services in Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida.

Our Mechanical Designers focus on HVAC system designs for comfort, safety, and efficiency.

Our Electrical Engineers work on NEC compliant calculations, lighting, and site plans.

Our Plumbing Engineers prioritize sustainability in water distribution and waste management.

Role Description:

This is a full-time, fully remote role for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Designer/Engineer. Responsibilities include MEP coordination, building services design, and collaborating with architects and authorities for project approval.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ Years of design experience in either Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, building codes, and other local requirements.
  • Experience with new and remodel construction projects including commercial, residential, apartments, schools, sports facilities, healthcare facilities, etc.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit and Design Master Software experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of plans, specifications, and schematics related to HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing trades:
  • HVAC load calculations and duct design for commercial and/or residential projects.
  • Electrical power and lighting layout design for commercial and/or residential projects.
  • Plumbing water supply and sanitary layout design for commercial and/or residential projects.

Attention to detail is a MUST!

The MEP Engineer must prepare plans and details as specified in the firm's MEP Process and Procedures.

The MEP Designer must provide technical advice to staff, designers, supervisors, inspectors, and clients.

Continuously review the project schedule during the design process.

Participate in lunch-and-learn and lessons learned workshops for knowledge sharing.

Coordinate MEP plans with Architectural, Structural, and Civil trades where applicable.

Perform field assessments and create as-builts of existing MEP systems ahead of project deliverables.

Work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Knowledge of Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Design is a plus.

Ability to create cover sheets and set up CAD X-refs for projects.
