Job Details

A Plumbing Engineer in the MEPF (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/Fire Protection) Practice shall provide waste & vent, water distribution, roof drainage/storm and fire protection scope designs. Project types include:

• Museums, Universities, Performing Arts Centers
• Restaurants & entertainment
• High end residential

Duties/Responsibilities

• Produce/maintain design drawings & specifications from schematic design through construction administration
• Conduct field surveys and construction observation
• Engage with clients and staff in order to manage and coordinate scope and schedule

Required Skills/Abilities/Education

• Minimum of 2 years of experience designing plumbing and fire suppression systems
• Experience within the MEPF space, working on commercial projects. It is a plus if you have worked on more complex or aesthetically appealing projects!
• Proficient in Revit 3D to layout plumbing and fire suppression system piping and equipment
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Familiarity with building codes (ILPC, IPC, UFC, IECC)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related field is preferred, but not required
• PE licensure or EIT certification is a plus
