Responsibilities include ensuring client satisfaction early in projects, reviewing designs for accuracy, coordinating with contractors and MEP engineers, identifying value engineering opportunities, and supporting the Project Manager on large plumbing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience on large plumbing commercial projects (50k–30M).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Knowledge of state building and plumbing codes preferred.
• Strong software knowledge: Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Trane Trace 700.

Plumbing Engineer position at large mechanical and plumbing construction company

We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
• Review all contract project design, engineering design, for accurate calculations.
• Work closely with general contractors and owners as well as other sub-contractors and mep-design engineers.
• Review project specs and identify value engineering opportunities to present to our clients.
• Ability to commute to different jobsites, and assist the Project Manager in managing large Plumbing construction projects.

Requirements:

• Local
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar in Construction Management is preferred.
• 3+years of field experience on largePlumbing commercial projects ranging from 50k to $30M.
• Strong software knowledge in Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, Trane Trace 700, Revit, among others are a plus.
• Knowledge in State building and Plumbing codes, among others are a plus.
