Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Plumbing Project Manager for a large mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC and plumbing on major commercial projects. The role involves mentoring project engineers and field crews, and leading efforts to estimate, manage, and deliver complex construction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be local to the project area.
• Familiar with state building and plumbing codes.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction.
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC or Plumbing Mechanical Contractors on large commercial projects (>$50k to $30M+).
• Strong knowledge in BlueBeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and/or Quickpen/Accubid preferred.

We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.

• Meet and mentor all project engineers and field crew.
• Find, Estimate, and Manage HVAC/Plumbing Construction Projects.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with GC’s and Owners.

• Ability to manage and approve: schedule, billings, submittals, RFI’s & change orders, select and monitor subs.
