Job summary

Red Cap Plumbing, Air & Electric is seeking a Drain Technician to diagnose and repair sewer and drain issues in both residential and commercial settings in the Tampa area. You will estimate costs, educate customers, and work with field teams to ensure quality service.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of drain diagnosis experience, strong plumbing knowledge, and a professional appearance; Service Titan experience is a plus. Join a dynamic, collaborative team focused on excellent customer care.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in drain diagnoses and problem solving.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical skills.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Service Titan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and provide cost estimates to customers.
• Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.
• Educate customers on sewer inspection, repair and replacement.
• Unclog and clean sewers and drains using proper equipment.
• Protect drain and jetting equipment from damage and misuse.
• Coordinate with field techs, warehouse, dispatch and management.
• Demonstrate a professional and knowledgeable attitude.

Our drain technicians perform basic plumbing tasks, provide solutions to sewer and drain problems and treat customers with the utmost respect and attention.

What Will I Do?

• Diagnose problems and provide cost estimates to the customer
• Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems
• Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer inspection, repair and replacement Unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer using proper equipment and tools
• Protect all company drain equipment and jetting equipment against abuse, misuse and negligence
• Work with field technicians, warehouse, dispatch and management to ensure overall success
• Exhibit a professional and knowledgeable attitude
