FEA Consulting Engineers is seeking a Plumbing Designer to deliver plumbing system designs in building construction projects. The role collaborations span engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accurate plans and compliant installations.

You will develop technical drawings, review submittals, and perform site visits to assess existing systems. Strong CAD skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities are essential for timely, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing design or related role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong verbal and written communication about technical subjects.
• Detail oriented with high accuracy.
• Ability to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design Building plumbing systems including fire protection for large buildings and facilities.
• Interact with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and engineers to coordinate designs.
• Prepare technical plans and specifications supporting your designs.
• Review contractor equipment and materials submittals for accuracy and compliance to the design.
• Perform site visits to evaluate existing systems and determine reuse or alterations.
• Load calculations to facilitate equipment sizing.
• Develop designs compliant with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Report progress to project managers and senior management.
• Interface with administrative and support staff.
