Job summary

Power Design Engineering, LLC is seeking a Plumbing Designer to craft plumbing layouts, perform flow calculations and select equipment for large-scale projects. You will coordinate with MEP scopes and guide CADD technicians to ensure quality and constructability on every project.

The role requires 3+ years of plumbing design experience, proficiency with Revit/CAD, and strong knowledge of IPC/IMC/IBC and ASHRAE codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant plumbing design experience.
• Strong design fundamentals for mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Familiar with IPC, IMC, IBC and ASHRAE codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals and specs; perform basic plumbing calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems for large-scale projects and coordinate with mechanical/electrical scopes.
• Provide design direction and review constructability with team members.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Work with Revit/CADD technicians to ensure quality.
