Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Plumbing Designer to join our team on large-scale projects. You’ll perform plumbing flow calculations, equipment selections, and piping layouts, coordinating with mechanical and electrical scopes.

Requirements include 3+ years of plumbing design experience, knowledge of IPC/IMC/IBC/ASHRAE codes, and Revit/CADD proficiency. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred; relocation opportunities may be available. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing design experience.
• Knowledge of IPC, IMC, IBC and ASHRAE codes.
• Revit/CADD experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, submittals and specifications.
• Experience with water, storm and sanitary pipe sizing and design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design solutions for plumbing systems, considering customer needs and budgeting requirements.
• Provide design direction and support to team members, including collaborating with Revit/CADD technicians.
• Communicate effectively with customers, project teams and inspecting authorities.
