Job summary

BEIS Plumbing, LLC is seeking a full-time Plumbing Cost Estimator to join our cost estimating team serving residential and commercial projects across the St. Louis area. The role emphasizes converting specifications into accurate, competitive bids.

You will review blueprints, visit sites, collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure bids meet current codes and industry standards. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with strong opportunities for advancement and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in plumbing estimating, construction, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation methods, and applicable codes.
• Proficiency in estimating software (i.e., Housecall Pro) and Google Workspace.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residential and commercial projects, turning them into detailed cost estimates and professional proposals.
• Review blueprints and specifications, conduct site visits, and collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Define scope, shape bid strategies, and ensure compliance with current plumbing codes and industry standards.
• Suggest cost-effective solutions and maintain organized records of every estimate.
• Build strong relationships with clients and vendors.
