East End Plumbing Acquisition LLC is hiring a Plumbing Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential and commercial projects. You’ll review plans, specs, and bid documents to develop complete estimates for various projects.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call or weekend work, steady workload, and full benefits. If you’re experienced in plumbing estimating and value growth, we’d love to talk!

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in residential plumbing services and sales.
• Plumbing license or related technical training.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, building codes, OSHA requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience estimating projects using software.

Responsibilities

• Meets with customers/clients to review plumbing project wants and needs.
• Reviews drawings, specifications, addenda, and contract documents.
• Performs detailed quantity takeoffs for plumbing systems and related materials.
• Estimates labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, permits, and other project expenses.
• Prepares budgets, proposals, bid summaries, and cost reports.
• Solicits and evaluates quotes from suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers.
• Identifies scope gaps, conflicts, exclusions, inclusions, and potential project risks.
• Attends pre-bid meetings, site walks, and project consultations.
• Coordinates with managers and clients to clarify scope and pricing.
• Maintains knowledge of plumbing materials, installation methods, building codes, and pricing.

Job Overview:

The Plumbing Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for plumbing projects. position reviews project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete estimates for commercial and residential projects.

What you'll do:

• Meets with customers/clients to review plumbing project wants and needs
• Reviews architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and civil drawings, specifications, addenda, and contract documents
• Performs detailed quantity takeoffs for plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, equipment, valves, supports, and related materials
• Estimates labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs (if any), permits, and other project expenses
• Prepares budgets, proposals, bid summaries, and cost reports
• Solicits and evaluates quotes from suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers
• Identifies scope gaps, conflicts, exclusions, inclusions, and potential project risks
• Attends pre-bid meetings, site walks, and project consultations
• Coordinates with General Manager, Master Plumber, Journeyman Plumbers and clients to clarify scope and pricing
• Maintains current knowledge of plumbing materials, installation methods, building codes, and industry pricing
• Assists with change-order pricing and post-bid reviews
• Maintains organized estimating files, documentation, and historical cost data
• Meets bid deadlines and maintains accuracy while managing multiple projects
• Represents East End Plumbing with professionalism and care (every home, every visit)

• Any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor

What you'll need:

• 5 or more years’ experience in residential plumbing services and sales OR a combination of education and experience
• Plumbing license, trade certification, associate degree, or related technical training
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, building codes, OSHA requirements, and industry standards
• Experience estimating projects using software
• High school diploma or GED
