Wencl Plumbing, a locally owned plumbing and HVAC company serving Owatonna and surrounding areas for over 45 years, is hiring a Plumbing Apprentice. Join a trusted team with career growth and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in plumbing.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Good work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Learn and follow plumbing codes and regulations.
• Perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes.
• Assist with troubleshooting plumbing issues and providing solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Help load and unload plumbing materials and tools.
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Take part in ongoing learning and skills development through on-the-job training and mentorship.

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with occasional overtime based on seasonal demand

Compensation:

$20.00-25.00 hourly, depending on experience
