Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling in Warsaw, IN is hiring a full-time Plumbing Apprentice. Earn $18 to $22 per hour with comprehensive benefits including vacation, insurance, and a tool bonus to start your journey in a hands-on skilled trade.

You will work with journeymen, learn on the job, and pursue your journeyman license. You’ll gain experience, attend classes, and be part of a supportive team with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Capable of crawling and lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman plumbers in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues.

• Attend accredited classes to accumulate hours for journeyman license.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLUMBING APPRENTICE

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you are a valuable member of our team. You work alongside our skilled journeyman plumbers, assisting them in diagnosing plumbing problems and performing repairs. Under their direct supervision, you test the plumbing and other installed fixtures, ensuring they function flawlessly. You also attend accredited classes and accrue hours to obtain your journeyman license. Each day brings new opportunities, and you love the chance to learn and grow in this essential skilled trade!

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A PLUMBING APPRENTICE

The typical schedule for this skilled trade position is Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5 pm.
