Job summary

Drain Right Services, Inc. in Southern California is seeking a skilled plumbing and drain specialist to diagnose and repair issues during in-home service calls. You will build strong rapport with customers and guide them toward informed decisions about maintenance plans and warranties.

You will work closely with dispatch to schedule services, ensure timely and accurate repairs, and maintain safety and compliance with local codes while growing professionally within the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting plans and understanding warranties.
• Explain blockage causes and resolutions; ensure billing accuracy.
• Aim to exceed revenue goals and maintain professional appearance.
• Coordinate with customer service to ensure overall success.
• Protect equipment, keep truck organized, and train helpers.

The Role

Diagnose and repair plumbing/drain issues and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

Responsibilities

• Complete all drain cleaning and plumbing work related to in-home, service calls.
• Schedule camera service for every mainline stoppage.
• Know how to establish customer rapport to provide the right products and services.
• Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer repair and replacement.
• Help customers select the right maintenance plan and understand warranty information.
• Explain reasons for blockage and illustrate how you will resolve the issue.
• Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Work along side customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
• Protect drain cleaning and equipment and keep a well inventoried truck.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
• Train and mentor helpers to ensure quick, accurate repairs.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
