Job summary

Ascension in Chicago, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform standard plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, flooring, and general structural maintenance at Resurrection Village.

The role is full-time days, onsite, with a hourly pay range of $28.21–$38.16. Qualifications include a high school diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience; licensure can substitute education or experience. EEO employer.

Responsibilities

• Standard Plumbing & Mechanical Maintenance: Execute standard facility plumbing repairs, monitor pipe circulation, handle fixture installations, and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Advanced Carpentry & Cabinetry Installation: Construct, repair, and install cabinetry, countertops, shelving, doors and wood structures according to blueprints or layouts.
• Flooring & Tile Work: Install, repair, and replace flooring, cove bases, ceiling tiles, and wall/floor tile work.
• General Structural Maintenance: Perform drywall taping, structural woodwork adjustments, and finish work to keep the facility functional.
• Environment Safety: Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff across the facility.

Education

• Flooring & Tile Work: Perform hands-on installation, repair, and replacement of various flooring materials, cove bases, ceiling tiles, and wall/floor tile work.
• General Structural Maintenance: Perform architectural repairs, drywall taping, structural woodwork adjustments, and finish work to ensure the facility remains fully functional.
• Environment Safety: Assist departments across the facility to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment for patients and staff.
